Painting I
 
           
           
      Painting I introduces students to the language of painting and the use of various painting materials.
This course focuses on techniques of oil painting and acrylic painting. Emphasis is placed on the understanding and use of various painting techniques, media, and color principles. Students focus on composition, various color palettes, and paint application. I also have students learn how to stretch their
own canvases.
