Assignment Description:
18 x 24" drawing (charcoal, conte, or graphite)

Chose a cityscape to use as a reference for this drawing. The cityscape could be many buildings or just one building. Think about space, composition, filling the page, and drawing with correct perspective (one-point, two-point, or three-point perspective). Think about light patterns, sunlight, shadows, textures, space, etc. Maybe repetition will come into play: doors, windows, bricks, etc. Capture the reality of the scene: age of buildings (are they crisp and new or old, rundown, and in need or repair).
